This presentation is by Jeanne Schumacher, Ed.D. Her objective is to make people aware that they can take many aspects of their health destiny into their hands by consuming a whole food plant based diet. Based on the movie Plant Pure Nation, Schumacher has created the Westchester Pod and the Yorktown-Katonah Group. Joining (free) pods.plantpurenation.com will connect you with amazing array of resources!
One of Schumacher’s initiatives is to get local restaurants to create a menu that would feature a special section for Whole Food Plant Based offerings. Passage to India, 17 E Main St, Mount Kisco, NY-10549. Tel: (914) 244-9595 is already on board and has created a separate menu that patrons can ask for!
Another part of her movement is locating a doctor who is interested in adding this as a choice in his/her practice.
