Join us at the Warner Library (121 North Broadway, Tarrytown, NY 10591) on March 7th from 7-9 pm for a presentation on What is Whole Food Plant Based Living.
The second presentation in the series, How to Begin a Whole Food Plant Based lifestyle - Tips and tricks will be given on March 14th from 7-9 pm.
Forks Over Knives examines the profound claim that most, if not all, of the degenerative diseases that afflict us can be controlled, or even reversed, by rejecting animal-based and processed foods.
This presentation is by Jeanne Schumacher, Ed.D. Her objective is to make people aware that they can take many aspects of their health destiny into their hands by consuming a whole food plant based diet. Schumacher is trying to organize a grass roots movement. Her first stop is organizing local restaurants to create a menu that would feature a special section for Whole Food Plant Based offerings. Passage to India, 17 E Main St, Mount Kisco, NY-10549. Tel: (914) 244-9595 is already on board and has created a separate menu that patrons can ask for!
Another part of her grass roots movement is locating a doctor who is interested in adding this as a choice in his/her practice. She would also like to begin a support group too!
